Drug Interactions:

Avoid with erythromycin-containing products (possible antagonism with clindamycin).

When Not to Use:

Precautions:

Avoid contact with mouth, eyes, lips, mucous membranes, or broken/irritated skin; rinse with water if accidental contact occurs.
Warnings

Concomitant acne therapy caution — may cause severe cumulative irritation, especially with peeling or abrasive agents.

Severe irritation (erythema, dryness, itching, stinging/burning) — discontinue use immediately.

Photosensitivity — avoid sunlamps and prolonged sun exposure; use sunscreen and protective clothing if outdoors.
