How it works:
Betamethasone valerate is a potent topical corticosteroid that produces a rapid response in inflammatory dermatoses responsive to corticosteroid therapy and is often effective in less responsive conditions like psoriasis. Neomycin sulfate is a broad-spectrum bactericidal antibiotic effective against most bacteria commonly associated with skin infections.

Precautions:
Bacterial infection is encouraged by warm, moist conditions (skin folds, occlusive dressings). Skin should be cleansed before applying a fresh dressing.
Warnings:

Use with caution in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to betamethasone, neomycin, or any excipients.

Discontinue immediately if prolonged/significant diarrhoea or abdominal cramps occur.
